The Myth, the Man, the Idiot: Gary Hoy (1996) :

This man is infamous for being the first recipient of a Darwin award ever, having probably inspired the creator in the first place.

 While giving a tour of his office, located on the 24th story a group of articling students, Hoy attempted to demonstrate the strength of the structure's window glass by slamming himself intoIl existe  one.

For some odd reason, he had apparently performed this stunt many times in the past. However, in this instance the force of Hoy slamming into the window forced the window from its frame, causing the window and Hoy to fall from the building, to his death and, ironically, eternal glory on the internet.

 Augusto,last name unknown (2000) :

Augusto was a man with a mission. He boarded a Philippine Air flight to Manila, and donned a ski mask and swim goggles. Then he pulled out a gun and a grenade and announced that he was hijacking the plane. Apparently security is a bit lax at the Davao City airport.

He proceeded to rob the passengers of about $25,000 and ordered the pilots to lower the plane to 6,500 feet.

When a lunatic with a gun orders you to descend, you descend. Meanwhile, Augusto strapped a homemade parachute onto his back, and forced the flight attendants to open the door and depressurize the plane.

As he jumped out of the plane, he threw the pin (oops!) into the cabin, and fell toward the earth carrying the business end of the grenade in his hand.

The impact of Augusto hitting the earth at terminal velocity had little effect on the earth's orbit.

Anonyms robbers (2011 and 2017):

            On two separate occasions, robbers have tried THE most stupid robbing plan imaginable:

Robbing a gun shop.  Unarmed. In the US. Witness of the first incident stated that the man entered the shop, walked nervously towards the countered while pulling a gun (that ended up being a fake)... and being immediately gunned down by over half a dozen people, both staves and consumers.

            The second incident was actually caught on tape, you can see the would-be robbers threatening an employee, before the owner casually puts a bullet in his head, marking the end of his short thief career.

Otera Aguilar ( 2014 )

            Otera was a 21 years-old Mexican very active on social networks. He was used to photograph himself in front of sports cars, bottles of alcohol, or women to publish them.

One day, he decided to look tough, by taking a selfie with a calibre 45. against put against his temple. Then he pressed the button.. not that of his phone, but that of the gun. Of course the gun was loaded, he died instantly.

Matthew Riggins ( 2015)

            Matthew Riggins was robbing houses in Barefoot Bay, Florida, when he got caught by the police. He tried to run away from them by throwing himself into a pond. The problem is that as I said, it happened in Florida. What kind of animal lives in Florida ? Yes, allligator.

Matthew met a three meters alligator which attacked him and killed him. The body and the alligator were found 10 days later by police divers.

“The person was in the wrong place, at the wrong time”, commented the office of the sheriff.
